Ideas for field research:
1. Going to a motorcycle race shop that specializes in suspension
2. Talking to an Engineer that deals with motorcycle suspension
3. Going to a motorcycle swap meet to see other suspension designs
4. Removing and disassembling the front forks and rear shock
5. Going to a race track and changing my suspension setting and recording the effects.
